Position Overview
PR Intern – Nonexempt – $18.50/hr – Onsite, 3 days a week – Van Nuys, CA (HQ)

DÔEN is looking for a dynamic and experienced PR Intern to join our Los Angeles team. The role reports to the PR & Community Manager and assists the PR and Communications departments with ongoing activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor digital press & social media channels for client mentions & coverage daily.

Assist with sample send‑outs through Launchmetrics, record details, items sent, expected return dates, and follow up to ensure timely returns.

Manage inbound return packages and mail service messengers.

Unbox and unpack returns daily, cross‑reference pulls to ensure samples are accounted for.

Maintain an organized sample receiving process, keeping a tidy sample closet & office.

Order messengers for product send‑outs and returns.

Build reports and compile post‑insights for partnerships, paid campaigns, and gifting recipients.

Assist with event planning and production, and provide onsite assistance when necessary.

Package and send products for gifting programs, logging orders and tracking numbers in master sheet.

Maintain gifting spreadsheets with up‑to‑date order details, tracking numbers, and delivery statuses, coordinating with the warehouse team.

Assist the Head of Community with community building and market research.

Update master influencer and press contact list.

Monitor coverage from deliveries and clip press in real‑time.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to work autonomously, exercise discretion and good judgment.

Strong prioritization skills to manage competing projects and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Action‑oriented and results‑driven.

Minimum Requirements

Must be able to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week; full schedule to be determined with supervisors.

Physical Requirements

Perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.

Periods seated at a desk, typing, sketching, and working on a computer.

Lift/move/push/pull objects up to 25 lbs.

Walk, sit, and stand for periods of time.

Operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, phones.

Access various areas of a given location.
