Position Overview
The Head of Marketing and Communications serves as the senior leader responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all marketing and communications efforts for the school. This position develops and implements a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy designed to enhance the school’s reputation, strengthen enrollment recruitment, and ensure consistent institutional messaging aligned with the school’s Catholic mission.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing andEnrollment Support

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy

Support enrollment management through target recruitment campaigns

Strengthen the school’s market position and communicate its value proposition

Monitor market trends and competitor positioning

Brand Management andInstitutional Messaging

Uphold consistent brand identity standards across the school

Oversee design and appearance of all print and digital materials

Ensure messaging aligns with the school’s mission and Catholic identity

Digital Marketing andCommunications

Oversee website strategy, SEO/SEM initiatives, social media platforms, and large language model (Co-Pilot, Chatgpt)

Develop digital campaigns that increase engagement and visibility

Monitor analytics and performance metrics

Publications andContent Development

Direct editorial strategy and production of institutional publications

Oversee marketing materials for admissions, advancement, events, and alumni relations

Highlight student life, academic excellence, and mission-driven initiatives

Media Relations andPublic Communications

Oversee public and media relations

Oversee crisis communications and institutional messaging

Support executive communications for the president and principal

Team Leadership andCollaboration

Lead and develop the marketing andcommunications team

Collaborate with admissions, advancement, athletics, and academic leadership

Lead special marketing initiatives and events

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or marketing (preferred).

8–10+ years of marketing experience, including leadership roles

Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies

Strong knowledge of digital marketing, brand management, and customer acquisition strategies

Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills

Experience managing marketing budgets and teams

Experience in data-driven marketing and marketing automation tools

Experience working in fast-growing or technology-driven companies

List of references or at least four letters of recommendation
