We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Writer to support internal application development and infrastructure teams. This role will focus on translating complex technical processes into clear, structured, and actionable documentation to support DevSecOps, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with application development, DevSecOps, and infrastructure teams to gather technical information and understand workflows, tools, and operational processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation including runbooks, journey maps, user personas, playbooks, and story-tracking artifacts.
Document infrastructure workflows and operational procedures, including instance lifecycle management and cloud transformation processes.
Develop repeatable playbooks and standardized documentation to support infrastructure productization and application development teams.
Define and document end-to-end workflows, technical capabilities, and operational procedures related to infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Ensure documentation is organized, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards and best practices.
Support knowledge management initiatives by maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical content repositories.
Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technical Writer within technical, infrastructure, or cloud‑focused environments.
Experience creating technical playbooks and documentation supporting cloud, IaaS, or DevSecOps initiatives.
Strong interviewing, collaboration, and information‑gathering skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user‑friendly documentation.
Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating environments.
Understanding of enterprise storage systems and infrastructure concepts.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience documenting cloud transformation, infrastructure migration, or lift‑and‑shift strategies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and story‑tracking tools such as Jira.
Experience using documentation platforms such as Confluence, Markdown, or similar tools.
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in DevOps or cloud‑native environments.
Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
Experience supporting infrastructure automation or cloud operations initiatives.
Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and infrastructure productization practices.
