Digital Strategist - Paid Media (Meta & Google Focus) Job at Creative Circle in

Our agency client is growing and hiring a Digital Strategist with a strong emphasis on paid media (80%), particularly Meta and Google, with additional responsibilities across SEO, analytics, and digital project management (20%). This is a hands-on, strategic role-- ideal for an agency professional who can own media strategy end to end, confidently advise clients, and execute campaigns without heavy oversight.

This is not a pure media buyer role. We are looking for a strategic lead who can write media plans, guide budget decisions, manage campaigns, and clearly communicate performance and recommendations to clients.

This role will be a minimum of 1 day per week in the Baltimore, MD office. In office days may fluctuate depending on workload or deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute paid media strategies across Meta and Google, with a strong emphasis on Meta
- Deep experience managing digital advertising channels, including DSP, SSP, OTT, and paid media platforms 
- Strong working knowledge of SEO strategy and execution, in partnership with external consultants 
- Proficiency in tools and platforms such as WordPress, Elementor, Google Analytics, and Agency Analytic
- Create detailed media plans outlining budget allocation, channels, targeting, markets, and KPIs
- Launch, manage, optimize, and scale paid campaigns
- Serve as a strategic client partner, advising where ad dollars should go and why
- Produce clear, compelling weekly toplines and monthly performance reports
- Translate campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Collaborate on ad creative direction (copy and visuals)
- Support SEO initiatives, including on-page optimization and basic technical SEO
- Work in platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, WordPress, and reporting tools
- Manage vendor relationships (Meta, Google, and others)
- Project-manage your own work across multiple accounts with minimal supervision
- Pitch in where needed in a small-agency environment

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant digital or agency experience
- Deep expertise in Meta advertising (certification strongly preferred or actively pursuing)
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads
- Experience as a media strategist, not just a buyer
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small agency
- Client-facing, confident communicator with strong presentation skills
- Highly organized, self-directed, and dependable
- Experience with SEO, analytics, and CMS platforms (WordPress required)
- Agency experience strongly preferred
- A portfolio showcasing paid campaigns and results is highly encouraged

Nice to Have
- Meta/Facebook Media Buying Certification
- Experience in B2C campaigns
- Experience with programmatic or OTT media
