Responsible to manage the communication and image of the school district to the public, media and other stakeholders. This includes crafting and disseminating messages, handling media inquiries, and managing crisis communications, fostering positive relationships with the media, coordinating events, and overseeing public relations strategies and campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or equivalent experience in the field of journalism, communications, marketing, community/public relations or related field. Demonstrates leadership and administrative competence. Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
