Your Team
You’ll join a lean, high‑performing go‑to‑market team spanning client services, sales, and marketing. In this role you will sit within Client Services, report to the VP of Client Services, and partner with Product to provide deep SEO/GEO expertise.
Your Role
We’re hiring an AI Strategist to serve as Evertune’s client‑facing SEO/GEO expert. This strategic, hands‑on role involves translating AI and LLM visibility insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop Evertune’s client playbook for understanding AI visibility and turning insights into actionable tactics.
- Own a focused book of sophisticated clients, ensuring deep subject‑matter expertise guides partnership, adoption, and growth.
- Lead technical and strategic conversations for your accounts and support the broader Client Services team on high‑complexity needs.
- Translate platform insights into actionable recommendations that drive product usage and customer outcomes.
- Partner closely with Product to prioritize essential platform capabilities over nice‑to‑have features.
- Provide customer feedback, market context, and SEO/GEO expertise to shape product road‑map priorities.
- Define Evertune’s POV on modern SEO, GEO, and AI discovery by identifying patterns, opportunities, and best practices.
- Create internal frameworks, enablement materials, and training that raise SEO/GEO fluency across the organization.
- Support select pre‑sale conversations where deep SEO/GEO expertise can strengthen credibility.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SEO with strong technical depth across strategy and execution.
- Experience owning SEO programs at a brand, agency, or SEO‑focused technology company.
- Strong command of core technical SEO concepts: crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, schema, content discoverability, and backlink strategy.
- Familiarity with AI search, LLM visibility, and GEO, plus a clear viewpoint on AI‑powered discovery’s impact on modern SEO strategy.
- Ability to connect traditional SEO fundamentals to emerging AI/LLM search behavior and turn that into practical client recommendations.
- Strong client‑facing communication skills, explain complex concepts to both sophisticated practitioners and less technical marketers.
- Proven judgment in prioritizing actions that improve visibility beyond generic practices.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to identify patterns, diagnose issues, and prioritize action.
- Demonstrated ability to operate cross‑functionally and influence teams across client services, product, and go‑to‑market.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and building new playbooks, frameworks, and processes in a fast‑moving startup environment.
- Based in NYC and available to work in‑office 3x/week.

- Experience working with enterprise brands or agency partners.
- Experience shaping product feedback, feature prioritization, or roadmap discussions.
- Background that combines technical SEO depth with strong external‑facing or consultative skills.
- Existing thought leadership or an active voice on LinkedIn in SEO, GEO, or AI search.

Compensation Philosophy & Benefits
The annual base salary range is $120,000 – $150,000 plus stock options. Eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on company performance and individual impact is also available.
