About the Role


We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our products, platforms, APIs, and internal engineering processes. The ideal candidate has experience working closely with engineering, product, QA, and business teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.


This role is ideal for someone who understands modern software development environments and can independently drive documentation efforts across product releases, APIs, architecture, implementation guides, user manuals, and knowledge repositories.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for software products, platforms, APIs, and engineering workflows
  • Develop user guides, implementation manuals, API documentation, release notes, installation guides, troubleshooting documentation, and knowledge base articles
  • Work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to gather technical information and convert it into structured documentation
  • Create internal documentation for engineering standards, SDLC processes, deployment procedures, DevOps workflows, and operational runbooks
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation tailored for developers, administrators, support teams, and business users
  • Maintain documentation repositories, templates, version control, and content governance standards
  • Support documentation for software releases, product updates, feature launches, and platform enhancements
  • Review documentation for technical accuracy, consistency, completeness, and usability
  • Collaborate with QA and support teams to document troubleshooting procedures, issue resolution workflows, and FAQs
  • Contribute to process improvements for documentation lifecycle management and content standardization


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in software, SaaS, enterprise technology, or engineering environments
  • Strong experience creating technical documentation for software applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, editing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation deliverables in parallel
  • Strong interviewing and information-gathering skills with technical stakeholders
  • Ability to understand technical concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems, English, Journalism, or related field


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting APIs
  • Familiarity with developer documentation best practices
  • Experience with SaaS or enterprise software products
  • Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery environments
  • Knowledge of diagramming/documentation tools
  • Exposure to AI-assisted writing/documentation tools


Nice to Have

  • Experience with release documentation and change logs
  • Knowledge of software testing / QA terminology
  • Experience supporting customer-facing and internal engineering documentation
  • Familiarity with information architecture and content governance
