Audio Visual Specialist

Findlay, OH

for a

12 months long term contract with possible extension.

We are seeking an ideal candidate with Hands-on AV-focused IT support role supporting enterprise conference rooms, auditoriums, live events, and executive leadership meetings. The individual will own AV environments, support live production scenarios, and partner closely with Network, Facilities, and EUC teams.

Pay Range: $25.00/hour - $28.00/hour on W2 without benefits (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).

Role Summary
Hands-on AV-focused IT support role supporting enterprise conference rooms, auditoriums, live events, and executive leadership meetings. This is not a generic help desk role. The individual will own AV environments, support live production scenarios, and partner closely with Network, Facilities, and EUC teams.

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

4–10 years of IT and/or AV support experience supporting end users and VIPs

Hands‑on experience supporting large conference rooms, auditoriums, or live event environments

Experience supporting executive or board‑level meetings under pressure

Comfortable working fully onsite in Findlay, Ohio

Critical AV & Production Skills

Candidates should demonstrate real‑world, hands‑on experience in two or more of the following: Live event production (multi‑camera setups, live switching)

Microsoft Teams Live or Town Hall event support

Audio engineering and sound mixing (mics, speakers, soundboards)

Crestron control systems (programming, configuration, or troubleshooting)

Managing auditorium AV systems and sound booths

Technical Environment

Candidates should be highly comfortable supporting most of the following technologies: Windows 11 and macOS

Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams

Crestron systems and controllers

Cameras, switchers, soundboards, and AV peripherals

Virtual servers and web‑based AV management tools

Networking & Infrastructure (Preferred)

Understanding of enterprise networking concepts related to AV environments

Familiarity with VLANs, switch configuration, and firewall coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Own and support corporate AV devices across dedicated VLAN environments

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with minimal user disruption

Install, configure, and maintain SCALA digital signage players and content

Track and report conference room and equipment utilization metrics

Partner with Facilities and IT teams on new construction and renovations

Manage SharePoint content related to AV documentation and knowledge base

Assist with AV‑related budgeting and planning.

Soft Skills & Behavioral Fit

Calm and effective under pressure, especially during live events

Strong communication skills with non‑technical executive stakeholders

Customer‑service oriented with strong ownership mentality

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfortable being the on‑site face of AV services.

Who are not a fit

Candidate only has generic help desk or desktop support experience

No hands‑on experience supporting live events or large AV environments

Crestron or AV experience is theoretical only

Candidate is unwilling to work onsite or support executives
