About the role
At Farm & Forge, content is not separate from the brand. It is one of the clearest reflections of our standards, culture, and daily work.

We are seeking a Content Creator who can work with speed, precision, and strong editorial judgment in a high-performance academic and sports environment. This person will capture and produce video, photography, podcast, and digital content that accurately reflects the level of coaching, discipline, and athletic development taking place across our campus.

This is a hands-on creative and production role. You will be responsible for documenting real training, competition, academic, and behind-the-scenes moments, then turning them into polished, platform-ready content with fast turnaround. A strong understanding of sports filming is critical, particularly in tennis, golf, track and field, strength and conditioning, and other performance-based environments. You should be able to recognize technically sound movement, proper form, and high-level execution, and make strong decisions about what is worth capturing and publishing.

Working alongside another content creator and reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will operate within established brand standards while helping elevate the quality, consistency, and clarity of Farm & Forge storytelling.

What you'll do
Daily Content Capture & Short-Form Production

Capture daily content across training, coaching, athlete development, campus life, and academic or STEM environments

Produce short-form video for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, with many assets delivered same day and most within 24 hours

Identify strong moments of execution, technique, intensity, and coaching interaction in real time

Shoot with intention, including strong judgment around framing, angles, pacing, and timing

Edit for platform-native use, including hooks, captions, pacing, audio, and formatting

Refine output based on content performance, audience response, and team feedback

Video, Podcast & Photography Production

Produce 1 to 2 short-form videos per day across priority platforms

Capture and edit podcast content on a biweekly or monthly basis

Manage single-camera or multi-camera setups as needed

Record clean audio and manage microphones, levels, and recording environment

Create 5 to 10 short-form clips from each podcast episode

Capture still photography on a regular basis for marketing, social, and brand use

Maintain organized file management for raw footage, edits, and final assets

Editorial Judgment & Brand Standards

Exercise strong editorial judgment so published content reflects credible athletic performance and proper technique

Follow established brand guidelines for visual style, tone, pacing, and athlete portrayal

Represent youth athletes with professionalism and care, including adherence to internal policies related to consent, visibility, and context

Contribute to the continued refinement of Farm & Forge visual storytelling standards

Requirements

2+ years of experience in sports/athletics/performance environments creating short and long-form content

Strong ability to recognize and capture quality movement, technique, and performance in sports filming

Preferred: 2+ years of podcast production experience, including setup, recording, and editing

Proven ability to shoot and edit high-quality content with fast turnaround

Strong understanding of short-form content and platform-native storytelling

High level of judgment, taste, organization, and attention to detail

Familiarity with content analytics and basic performance reporting

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar tools

Ability to operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, and basic audio equipment

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities

Flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights and weekends for on-site events (~3-6x/month)

Ability to occasionally travel locally or regionally for off-site events (~1-2/quarter)
