Position Summary
The IT Audio Visual Analyst 2 is responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of Kwik Trip’s audio‑visual software and hardware platforms. This role leads the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of collaboration, conference room, and audio‑visual technologies across the organization. The position also serves as a subject matter expert for AV systems, provides guidance to the IT Audio Visual Analyst 1, and acts as an escalation point for advanced end user and AV support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead installation, upgrades, and optimization of conference room technologies, digital signage, and audio systems.

Serve as subject matter expert for collaboration and Audio Video technologies.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams throughout project design and implementation.

Independently manage projects from initiation through planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations are met.

Coordinate lifecycle management, inventory tracking, and hardware/software updates for AV equipment.

Create and maintain technical documentation, audio schematics, and knowledge base articles.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the IT Audio Visual Analyst 1.

Act as the third‑tier escalation for AV and end‑user services by monitoring task and incident queues.

Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for AV technologies, including occasional support outside normal business hours.

Qualifications

Associate degree (2‑year) or equivalent experience

2-4 years of experience in AV device management and administration.

Hands‑on experience with AV and collaboration technologies, including Crestron, Sony and LG displays, DTEN, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, QSC Audio DSP devices, Shure Audio Solutions, and DANTE audio networking.

Basic networking knowledge related to AV environments

Certifications such as AVIXA CTS‑D or CTS‑I, ITIL, Crestron, Dante, and QSYS are preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Intermediate knowledge of core audio and conference room technologies

Advanced familiarity with hardware repair for laptops, desktops, and AV equipment

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong technical writing and documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Occasional exposure to noisy environments and enclosed spaces

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, with some evening hours as needed. This position participates in an on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours support when required.
