Duties and Responsibilities Translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
Create and deliver technical materials for less complex products, occasionally managing multiple tasks concurrently
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy, alignment, and consistency
Work closely with multiple engineering disciplines to understand product features, requirements, and use cases
Revise, update, and rewrite existing technical documentation to reflect product or process changes
Participate in the engineering change management process, including document creation, approval routing, inventory disposition, and release activities
Create and edit graphical reference assets using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Photograph and document vehicle or product installations as needed
Adhere to and recommend updates to internal style guides to maintain a consistent voice and presentation across all documentation
Evaluate existing content and propose improvements or innovative approaches to enhance usability and clarity
Scope Requires foundational knowledge and experience within the technical writing discipline
Continues to build higher-level technical, documentation, and organizational knowledge
Develops familiarity with company processes, products, and customer needs
Solves a range of straightforward documentation and content-related problems
Analyzes potential solutions using standard procedures and critical thinking
Works under a moderate level of guidance and direction
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 0–2+ years of relevant experience or high school diploma with 2–5+ years of relevant experience Strong written and verbal communication skills 1+ year of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams Experience with Atlassian Jira or similar project management tools preferred
