The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and web applications to meet business requirements. This role ensures that web platforms are visually appealing, user-friendly, secure, and optimized for performance. The Web Developer works closely with designers, content creators, and other IT team members to deliver high-quality web solutions that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update existing websites and applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to implement user-friendly web interfaces.
Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and search engine performance (SEO).
Troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues.
Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and databases.
Ensure compliance with web standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and security best practices.
Document code, processes, and workflows to support knowledge sharing and team continuity.
Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Salary Range
$110,000 - $120,000. The salary range listed reflects the anticipated base pay for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant education, experience, and qualifications.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of professional experience in web development, including front-end and back-end development.
Skills and Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Experience with back-end languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js) and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
