(Chicago/Hybrid) The Coordinator, Digital Marketing and Fundraising supports the Digital Marketing and Fundraising team across email, mobile, paid media, website, and SEO initiatives. The position focuses on production, quality assurance, and coordination to ensure digital campaigns and donor‑facing experiences are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
Working closely with the Integrated Fundraising, Web Services, Analytics, and Content teams, the Coordinator provides hands‑on execution and project support while building core skills in digital marketing and nonprofit fundraising under the guidance of the Director of Digital Marketing and Fundraising. This position is based in our Chicago headquarters.
We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, communications, fundraising, digital media, or a related field. This entry‑level position requires less than one year of experience in email, mobile, SEO, digital marketing/acquisition, or related fields. Relevant internships, coursework, or project‑based experience in digital marketing, email, web, or fundraising is preferred.
Digital Campaign Production and Execution
Support the setup, review, and deployment of campaigns across email, SMS mobile, paid media, and web channels.
Assist in building emails, landing pages, and donation forms using established templates and tools.
Execute campaign updates including links, tracking parameters, copy adjustments, and creative assets based on provided direction.
Support campaign setup tasks such as applying pre‑defined audience selections.
Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution
Perform quality assurance checks across campaigns, including links, personalization, tracking, formatting, and functionality.
Identify and elevate issues such as broken links, formatting errors, or tracking inconsistencies.
Support quality assurance for website updates, landing pages, and digital advertising.
Digital, Website, and SEO Support
Assist with website content updates, including landing pages and fundraising flows.
Implement basic SEO updates as directed, such as metadata changes or content formatting.
Support routine maintenance tasks for digital experiences under established processes.
Reporting, Workflow, and Team Coordination
Compile recurring reports across email, website, and paid media campaigns.
Track and organise key performance metrics and flag data irregularities or missing information for review.
Maintain documentation for campaigns, processes, and updates.
Communicate status updates, questions, and dependencies clearly with internal teams.
Support coordination with external agencies by preparing assets, validating deliverables, and verifying campaign setups against provided specifications.
Support mobile and peer‑to‑peer campaign setup and coordination activities as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
Technical & Individual Skills
Basic understanding of digital marketing channels including email, web, social, SEO, and paid media.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Exposure to email platforms, content management systems, or analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and best practices.
