The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks a highly organized and adaptable Operations Associate to support day-to-day operations across the Communications team, helping ensure our work to engage the community and communicate impact moves forward clearly and on time.

This role ensures work moves forward, timelines are met, and details are not missed by tracking tasks, coordinating workflows, and following through across projects so that our communications consistently reflect the work, impact, and priorities of our community.

Key Responsibilities

Support the execution of communications that engage the community and reflect Federation's role and impact
Coordinate work across communications, digital, and events to ensure aligned, consistent execution
Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables
Coordinate logistics, materials, and workflows
Execute email, content, or digital tasks as needed
Maintain organized documentation and follow-up
Ensure timelines are met and work is completed
Support event execution when needed
Maintain the digital asset management system (DAM), including organizing, tagging, and managing access to assets in partnership with designers
Partner with Communications leadership to support prioritization and workflow management
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and maintain alignment
Identify gaps, surface risks early, and support resolution to keep work moving
Collaboration & Integration Partner with the Director of Marketing & Operations to support prioritization, workflow management, and team coordination
Work across the Communications team to track progress and ensure aligned execution
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, clarify needs, and maintain alignment across projects
Support cross-team communication to reduce bottlenecks, surface gaps early, and keep work moving efficiently

Assets are easy to find, use, and require minimal adjustment
Teams receive timely follow-up
Communications are delivered clearly and consistently, helping audiences understand Federation's role and impact
Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or a related role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to how details contribute to clear, consistent communication and audience experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Teams, and SharePoint, and comfort using project management platforms such as ClickUp
Familiarity with Jewish customs, traditions, and community life, or a willingness to learn, is preferred
