The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and leading the sales strategy for our recruiting and staffing services. This role partners closely with our recruiting operations to ensure high-quality service delivery. The Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and execute sales initiatives that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate has deep industry experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for connecting organizations with exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead, mentor, and coach sales team members to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and client needs to refine sales approaches.
Forecast sales performance, revenue, and market opportunities for leadership review.
Business Development
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across diverse industries.
Consult with clients to understand workforce needs and recommend tailored staffing solutions.
Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with pricing structures and service agreements.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as a trusted advisor to key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Oversee resolution of client issues in collaboration with recruiting and operations teams.
Conduct client presentations, quarterly business reviews, and performance reporting.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner closely with recruiting teams to align expectations on job orders and candidate delivery.
Work with marketing to develop lead-generation campaigns and sales enablement tools.
Communicate client needs and market insights internally to support operational excellence.
Performance Management & Reporting
Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and client feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare regular reports for executive leadership, highlighting wins, challenges, and strategic priorities.
Maintain CRM accuracy and enforce best practices across the sales team.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of sales experience in the staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience with CRM platforms and data-driven sales processes.
Preferred
Prior experience managing multi-location teams or multiple vertical markets.
Knowledge of MSP/VMS programs, RPO, or specialized staffing solutions.
Expertise in contract staffing, direct hire, and project-based workforce models.
