As a Copywriter at Grand Casino, you create clear, compelling, and strategic content that connects with guests and drives business results. You partner across Marketing, Advertising, and internal teams to develop messaging that is on-brand, on-strategy, and built for impact.

This role is equal parts creativity and execution. You take ideas and turn them into meaningful messaging across every channel-ensuring accuracy, consistency, and speed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You'll Do

Content Creation + Brand Voice
Develop creative concepts for advertising, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
Write copy across multiple channels including digital, print, social media, email, web, radio, OOH, and video.
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, tone of voice, and campaign strategy.
Own the quality of your work-delivering clear, concise, persuasive, and grammatically accurate writing.
Accountable for original concepts and for clear, concise, and convincing writing with grammatical and material accuracy.
Collaboration + Execution Partner with the Creative Director, Marketing, Social Media, and leadership to shape messaging and campaign direction.
Collaborate with internal departments to gather accurate information and translate it into effective messaging.
Present copy concepts and revise based on feedback to meet business needs and timelines.
Participate in campaign kickoffs and contribute to both internal and external communication strategies.
Research + Continuous Improvement Conduct background research to ensure messaging is accurate, relevant, and effective.
Stay informed on trends, guest behavior, and business priorities to strengthen content.
Support additional projects and assignments as needed.

What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Writing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field-or equivalent experience.
A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility, and high-quality writing.
1+ years of copywriting experience in an agency, casino/gaming, retail, or in-house environment.
Strongly preferred: Casino or gaming industry experience. Familiarity with gaming operations, promotional strategy, and industry-specific language is highly valuable and will enable faster success in this role.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Must be able to secure a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Work Requirements and Environment

This is a hybrid role that includes regular collaboration and travel between Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley properties. Responsibilities include project coordination, planning sessions, documentation, reporting, and regular use of technology and communication tools. Success in this role requires strong organization, adaptability, and the ability to manage confidential information and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
