Social-First Video Editor
We are seeking a social-first video editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate understands how to edit content for paid social, performance marketing, and platform-native storytelling across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging digital channels.
We're looking for someone who can move quickly, think creatively, and turn raw footage, UGC, creator content, client assets, and campaign concepts into high-performing video ads. You should have a strong sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, motion, sound, and visual hierarchy, with an understanding that strong creative needs to capture attention quickly, communicate clearly, and drive action.

Responsibilities
Edit short-form video content for paid social and performance marketing campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms
Transform raw footage, UGC, creator content, product footage, client assets, and campaign concepts into clear, engaging, social-first video ads
Partner closely with performance marketing, creative strategy, design, and account teams to develop and iterate on video creative
Create multiple variations of video ads based on different hooks, openings, CTAs, offers, formats, and testing needs
Use platform trends and creative learnings to refine edits and improve campaign outcomes
Develop videos with a strong understanding of pacing, retention, thumbstop moments, captions, sound design, motion graphics, and platform-native best practices
Balance multiple client projects, deadlines, and feedback rounds at once
Contribute creative ideas during concepting and briefing, not just execution
Stay current on social trends, editing styles, creator formats, platform updates, and emerging creative tools
Maintain organized project files and workflows to support fast-turn editing and future creative iterations
Requirements
3+ years of video editing experience, ideally with agency, brand, creator, paid social, or performance marketing experience
Strong portfolio of short-form social video work, especially paid social ads, UGC-style edits, creator content, or direct-response creative
Deep understanding of social-first editing for platforms like TikTok, Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, captions, sound, transitions, motion graphics, and visual storytelling
Experience creating multiple creative variations for testing and iteration
Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar platforms
Familiarity with AI-assisted creative and editing tools is a plus
Ability to move quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to interpret, apply, and build on feedback
Comfortable balancing multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines
Interest in performance marketing, paid social, and using creative learnings to improve results
