Overview
Element has an exciting opportunity for an Website Specialist to join our Global Digital Marketing team in Blue Ash, Ohio.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, process-driven, and passionate about SEO, digital content, and website optimization. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Element’s global websites and digital platforms while partnering closely with our Senior SEO Specialist on technical SEO initiatives, content optimization, audits, and best practices.

You will also support Business Unit Marketers across the Americas by managing content requests during U.S. business hours and working hands‑on within the CMS to build, update, and optimize web pages while ensuring consistency, quality, and strong user experience across all digital properties.

This is a hybrid role: 3 days in our Blue Ash OH office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities
SEO

Act as a day‑to‑day SEO resource for the team: advise marketing teams on SEO best practices in a clear, accessible way, and review content against SEO and quality guidelines

Support the Senior SEO Specialist with SEO projects, including technical SEO crawls, audits, and keyword optimization, applying current best practices; cover for them during periods of absence to keep projects on track

Stay current with Google algorithm updates, AI‑driven search developments, and evolving SEO best practices; proactively apply these and communicate relevant changes to the team

Define, maintain, and champion SEO and content guidelines, templates, and checklists; support stakeholders to follow them consistently

Triage and manage incoming SEO and content support requests via the web content board, prioritizing effectively and ensuring timely delivery

Track and report on organic performance using SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker

CMS & Content

Manage daily CMS operations, including uploading content, creating and updating pages, and maintaining site structure quality

Review and approve content change requests through the CMS, ensuring submissions meet quality guidelines and SEO best practices

Perform regular website and content audits to identify missing elements, broken links, or UX issues; work with stakeholders to resolve findings

Support Business Unit Marketers – particularly those in the Americas – with content and CMS requests, triaging as appropriate and providing responsive coverage on USA timezone hours

Train and support stakeholders in how to get the best from the CMS, following content templates and standardized formats

Monitor error and downtime reports, troubleshoot issues, and elevate complex problems clearly to the Platforms Manager

Support the Global Digital Director, Platforms Manager, and wider Digital team with ad‑hoc tasks as required

Keep current with developments in CMS technology contentandUX best practices

Skills / Qualifications
Essential

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an SEO‑focused role within an agency or larger organization

Deep, current knowledge of technical and content SEO best practices, including the latest Google algorithm updates and the impact of AI on search

Proven ability to both implement SEO improvements directly and advise others clearly – equally confident doing and coaching

Demonstrable experience supporting others to follow SEO and content guidelines, including triaging and managing support tickets and requests

Hands‑on, frequent experience building and updating website pages within a CMS – personally and regularly, not occasionally or via another team

Excellent written English and a sharp eye for content quality; able to identify good and poor content and apply consistent judgement to defined guidelines

Familiarity with standardized content templates and experience helping others to use them

Experience with SEO tracking tools (SEMrush preferred) and website analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Highly Desirable

Experience with an enterprise CMS such as Optimizely (Episerver), Sitecore, or Drupal; solid experience with any CMS considered if hands‑on and frequent

Experience with headless CMS systems and modern content architecture approaches

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS and web development principles

Experience using AI prompts and tools to support SEO, content, or workflow tasks

Experience with LookerStudio and/or Asana

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered
