Responsibilities
Direct, manage, and administer the coordination and service delivery components of programs in group home settings.
Supervise delivery of services and ensure individuals and consumers receive highest quality care.
Observe on-site service delivery regularly and monitor knowledge of health needs, behavior management, and emergency procedures.
Liaise between the community and agencies, family/guardians, and the agency.
Ensure all homes under supervision are environmentally maintained and in compliance with state/federal guidelines, licensing, and company policy.
Coordinate investigations of serious incidents, alleged abuse allegations, and appropriate reports to required agencies.
Serve as on‑call support for group homes.
Ensure payroll and billing are completed accurately and timely.
Oversee Accounts Payable for group homes.
Monitor and assure compliance with financial goals and service provision as indicated in each person’s Individual Program Plan.
Coordinate Incident/Accident Review process, monitor patterns, and provide feedback to prevent future incidents.
Serve as a member of the agency management team.
Hire, train, evaluate, and monitor staff, complete timely performance reviews to ensure productivity, accountability, and success.
Conduct or monitor training on least restrictive techniques, behavior management, active treatment, client rights, abuse prevention, documentation, emergency procedures, and other areas as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Degree in Human Services or related field and minimum of two years working with Elderly and Developmentally Disabled, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, or related field required.
Minimum of two years of professional experience supporting individuals with IDD or related human services discipline.
Preferred: experience in supervisory, leadership, or program management role.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven supervisory skills; ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to travel between service sites, including overnight stays.
Bachelor’s Degree, DSP 1 and DSP 2 Certifications, CPI, RBT, ARF credentials (additional requirements).
Knowledge of Behavioral Homes, ICF, and ARF programs; understanding of behavior support plans and documentation.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing Behavioral Homes, ICF, and ARF programs; experience maintaining compliance with licensing, documentation, and audit requirements.
