Sales Representative

Develop and manage business relationships with current and potential customers, offering corrugated and folding packaging solutions that meet their operational, design and cost needs, to increase the company's sales, profitability and market share.
This is a U.S. Sales Representative position to sell in CA and Tijuana. How you will impact WestRock:
Prospect and develop new customers in industrial, commercial and consumer markets through information platforms, door-to-door, exhibitions, and cold calls to increase the plant's customer portfolio.
Identify customer needs and propose corrugated and folding packaging solutions (boxes, displays, special packaging, etc.) through the different design systems to offer added value to customers.
Prepare quotes considering technical specifications, volumes, costs and delivery times, relying on sales estimators and/or commercial management to ensure the contribution of the plant
Coordinate with the design, production and logistics areas through internal communication in the different channels to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Follow up on orders, deliveries and after-sales through the different channels ensuring high levels of satisfaction in conjunction with the different areas such as Customer Service & Shipments
Meet and exceed established sales, margin and growth targets through prospecting and maintaining the current portfolio to ensure plant contribution.
Represent the company on commercial visits, fairs or events in the sector to increase contacts/leads in order to close negotiations in the short term.
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma required, bachelor's degree highly preferred.
At least 3-5 years' successful verifiable and progressive outside sales experience maintaining major account relationships and meeting personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
Proven prospecting, follow-up, and consultative selling abilities.
Strong business acumen, leadership skills, negotiation skills, conceptual and analytical skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Strong computer skills. Knowledge of SalesForce.com helpful.
Ability to work successfully from a home office and travel, overnight travel included.
Excellent communication skills.
Bilingual Spanish
The salary range for this position is $76,500.00 - $127,500.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
