What's The Role
The Managing Director, SEO is responsible for driving the expansion of Brainlabs’ SEO and AI Visibility efforts. The primary objective is to continue to grow the SEO practice profitably by building an approach that utilizes the best people, processes and technology to be able to deliver client results via organic and AI search.
What You Do
- Manage the P&L and grow revenue across the NAMER SEO practice
- Align the organization around a single vision for delivering AI SEO visibility and organic traffic
- Senior sponsorship of our largest SEO client relationships working with Brainlabs SEO teams to develop strategy and communicating SEO strategy to client side C-level stakeholders
- Co-Lead GTM for AI Visibility efforts with the Chief Product Officer, lead new business SEO opportunities
- Define the partners and tech to best serve Brainlabs’ clients
- Guide measurement strategy for SEO and AI Visibility
- Deliver SEO thought leadership across social media, Brainlabs’ blog and industry speaking engagements
Who You Are
- An SEO professional with 12+ years of SEO experience inclusive of leading SEO teams, developing and executing SEO strategy for enterprise clients and participation in sales processes
- Have an opinion of how AI and LLMs have changed SEO and how brands need to adapt to drive increased AI visibility
- Held in high regard by media partners and colleagues
- Comfortable in a QBR, on stage or in a pitch closing media business
- Understanding of SEO from a technical, content and strategic lens
- Track record of hiring, developing and growing successful teams
- Ideally have independent agency experience
- Can build: processes, trainings and culture
