IMA is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing National Real Estate Team. This role is eligible for remote work.ResponsibilitiesSupport in winning new business and set up of new accountsMaintain intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the yearKicks-off the client renewal process by creating the Game Plan and completing a coverage analysis (if applicable) and conducting thorough review of the policy and all relevant documentsPrepare for and facilitate meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clientsCraft the marketing strategies, review submissions, and engage in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposalsPursue mastery of the craft through on-going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and servicesDevelop and maintain carrier relationshipsManage a book of business greater than $1.3 million in revenue 50%+ book of business focused on large/complex accounts. Play a lead role with large/complex accounts, based on primary industry levels10%+ of time is spent supporting producers in winning new businessIdentify with client's priorities then create a vision for their insurance program with alignment to their risk management goals, and understand client's business philosophyStructure a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clientsOffer client and internal team management and coaching as appropriateWork closely with internal ancillary teams to ensure client and company successSupport and demonstrate IMA's core valuesValue and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associatesQualificationsExperience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business requiredAbility to think strategically based on client's priorities and marketplace cycleStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to delegate and hold team and partners accountableExperience working within Applied Epic preferredExperience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)Travel up 20-25% of the time, depending on the location of the roleSkilled at understanding the client's entire business as it relates to insurance protection (matching to their aversion level of risk) as it relates to specific terms & conditionsStrengthens IMA brand as subject matter expert (speaking at conferences, white papers, carrier relationships, etc.)Attain and maintain professional designation or license – Property & Casualty insurance license within the first 30-90 days of hireHolds formal specialty designation preferred (ARM, CPCU, Industry specific designation, etc.)Salary Range: $111,000 USD - $190,000 USDThe IMA Financial Group, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
