Content Operator For Immersive Journey We're looking for a highly ambitious content operator to work directly alongside the founder/CEO of Immersed and document the journey in real-time. Think less "videographer" and more embedded storyteller.
Your job is not JUST to film. Your job is to capture moments that people FEEL.
The behind-the-scenes conversations. The pressure. The chaos. The late-night pivots. The investor meetings. The product breakthroughs. The tension before launches. The emotional wins. The hard decisions. The human moments most companies never show.
We want someone obsessed with recognizing compelling moments before they happen. Someone constantly thinking: "What's the story here?" "What emotion will people connect to?" "What's happening right now that future audiences will wish they saw?"
You should naturally think in narratives, tension, pacing, emotional payoff, retention, hooks, and storytelling — not just aesthetics.
Immersed is building the next generation of computing through spatial computing, AI, and ultra-lightweight XR hardware. We're building software and hardware used by remote workers, engineers, founders, designers, creators, and distributed teams around the world. This role gives you direct exposure to startups, fundraising, product launches, AI, media, and the future of computing from the inside.
Ideal candidates are hungry, proactive, fast-moving, highly available, and excited to build something much bigger than themselves.
Huge bonus if you can edit short-form or long-form content well, but the #1 priority is your instinct for capturing emotionally compelling footage consistently.
You should already be deeply familiar with internet culture and modern content ecosystems.
This role is ideal for someone who instinctively understands:
What makes content perform on TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube
How to capture moments quickly without ruining authenticity
Founder/operator-style content, not overly polished corporate content
Framing, lighting, pacing, captions, thumbnails, storytelling, and emotional payoff
You should be comfortable filming with:
iPhone cameras (mandatory)
DJI gear (Osmo Pocket, Ronin, wireless mics, etc.)
Mirrorless/professional camera setups preferred, but not required
You should also already know how to use at least some modern editing tools/software such as:
CapCut
Final Cut Pro
Adobe Premiere
DaVinci Resolve
Descript
Other modern AI/social editing tools
