Loloi Rugs

is seeking a full-time Studio Photographer to join our Marketing and Creative team for an immediate hire. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in studio photography and brings a thoughtful, solution-oriented approach to their work.
Based in our in-house Dallas creative studio, this role will focus on capturing a range of home décor products for key accounts and internal departments, including rugs, pillows, and wall art.
You will partner closely with the Studio Manager and key stakeholders to ensure assignments are executed efficiently, delivered on schedule, and aligned with established brand standards.
For consideration, please include examples in your portfolio of products you have photographed, retouched, and clipped against a white or seamless background. If you have additional creative work from other projects or roles, we would also love to see those included in your application.
Please note, this role is based on-site 5 days a week (M-F) at our headquarter office in Farmers Branch.
Responsibilities

Light, photograph, and color correct a steady volume of home decor products for e-commerce that may be used for web, printed collateral, or general reference purposes.
Crop, resize, and format images according to specific project and account requirements.
Some light retouching may be required before delivery.
Accurately rename, organize, and maintain structure of files in Capture One and local folders.
Maintain clear, consistent communication with cross-functional teams regarding image requests, project timelines, and delivery expectations.
Regularly update ongoing image requests in Airtable, keeping the assignment status current.
Communicate challenges to Studio Manager with a solutions focused mind set.
This role operates in a fast paced, reactive environment, so the ideal candidate is highly adaptable and comfortable with shifting priorities.
Some travel may be required, approximately 10%.
Qualifications

A strong visual eye and creative judgment, with a technical understanding of composition, studio lighting, and styling for brand ready presentation.
A strong understanding of e-commerce photography workflows and how imagery functions across digital commerce and marketing channels.
Maintains an organized workspace and values a clean, orderly studio environment.
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency in Capture One and Photoshop.
The right candidate shows up with a collaborative, accountable, and no-ego approach. They display a positive attitude and are a team first contributor who takes feedback well and supports others.
Dependable, honest, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
Has a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on your feet for long periods of time.
Candidates who are proficient in Spanish are highly desirable, but this language skill is not required for this role.
Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Photography or a related field.
Previous work experience as a Photo Assistant, Grip, or Digital Tech role is a big plus.
Candidates based in Dallas, TX and the surrounding metroplex are highly desired. This role is required to be on-site 5 days a week, Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm.
2+ years experience working in a commercial photography studio or creative agency.
