OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION
One of the major job responsibilities of the Marketing Manager Germany-Austria will be to establish and execute marketing strategies and tactical plans, to develop marketing strategies to grow business across the regions and achieve the objectives and to ensure higher revenue for the company. The manager will develop marketing materials/tools and customer education programs to implement key strategies across the German market. Leadership of Marketing Assistant/Coordinator positions and integration of position into Marketing plan and activities of the year.
TASKS
To establish and execute marketing strategies and tactical plans, in order to achieve the German & Austrian growth targets
Plan, organize, execute and manage events including tradeshows, customer and partner events, and industry events.
Develops marketing strategies to grow business across the region and achieve the objectives.
Develops annual marketing (congresses and meetings) and education plans (operating plan) according to organizational objectives.
Provides input to Regional Marketing / International Division to develop core marketing strategies, tactics and specific materials to support the German market.
Develops marketing materials/tools and customer education programs to implement key strategies across the German market.
Develops and manages product launches to reflect marketing plan, strategies and tactics (price, positioning, promotion, education etc.).
Recommend, develop and review all online marketing that affects STAAR Germany sales.
Responsible for strategic direction and execution of all external communication to end-users and patients
Create and update collateral, presentations, brochures, product sheets, fact sheets, signage, ads and sales tolls with input from global product marketing and product management groups.
Create various marketing materials to be used across various media platforms, developing creative concepts for consideration.
Lead and integrate Marketing Assistant/Coordinator position/s in actual strategic Marketing Plan and Activities
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Education
Marketing degree
Special Knowledge
Refractive and extensive professional marketing background, high level communication skills in German and English.

Open minded, innovative, intercultural competencies
