Strategic Hunter Account Executive, Digital Natives
Location: Remote – San Francisco, California

As a Strategic Hunter Digital Native Account Executive at Databricks, you are passionate about selling to high‑growth, venture‑backed companies. You will sell to the most technologically advanced companies in the world, compress decision cycles, understand the product in depth, and communicate its value. You will be over strategic accounts, responsible for closing new customers and growing consumption. In addition you have the opportunity to accelerate above 100% of quota.

Key Responsibilities

Sell to high‑growth, venture‑backed companies, compress decision cycles, and demonstrate value to customers.

Understand Databricks products in depth and communicate their value to customers.

Manage strategic accounts, close new customers, and grow consumption.

Communicate account strategy to Databricks senior leadership on a regular basis.

Allocate Databricks resources to break into new accounts and grow existing ones.

Meet with C‑Level executives down to practitioner level to understand how Databricks can impact business outcomes.

Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.

Use a creative, fail‑fast approach to selling and creating value for customers.

Build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts.

Impact

Direct influence on the data strategy of the most disruptive companies today.

Communicate account strategy to Databricks senior leadership.

Allocate resources to accelerate growth.

Meet with leadership to align outcomes.

What We Look For

Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud.

6+ years of experience with open source technologies and build‑vs‑buy decision‑making.

6–8 years of experience with value‑selling methodologies.

A creative salesperson with a well‑defined prospecting motion.

Experience within big data, cloud, or SaaS sales.

Proven experience exceeding sales quotas.

Success closing new accounts.

Compensation
Pay Range Transparency

Zone 1 Pay Range: $311,600 – $428,450 USD

Zone 2 Pay Range: $311,600 – $428,450 USD

Zone 3 Pay Range: $311,600 – $428,450 USD
