Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary
Design, produce, and prepare print, digital, and visual collateral using department-approved design software
Create visual assets for marketing materials, websites, social media, and other media as assigned
Support video and photo editing projects, including basic video assembly, photo editing, and asset preparation
Draft design concepts and rough layouts focusing on composition, hierarchy, typography, and visual storytelling
Fulfill design needs within university brand and messaging guidelines
Plan and execute design concepts as directed by the Art Director
Make modifications and improvements to layouts, graphics, videos, and visual assets as needed
Provide production and project support to senior designers and creative staff
Adapt illustrations, photography, and video content for multi-platform use
Assist with photo and video organization, editing, archiving, and asset management
Support content preparation for presentations, campaigns, and digital platforms
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned
Responsibilities

Demonstrated interest or experience in graphic design, visual communication, media production, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and basic video tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
Willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and creative systems
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to follow creative direction and brand standards
Required Qualifications

Little to minimal prior experience
Ability to learn support process
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications

Highly creative
Experience with photo editing and basic video editing
Organized file management
Open to feedback
