Overview This role is part of our Maker Program, an 18-month rotational experience designed for early-career talent looking to build foundational skills across marketing, creative, and consumer-facing functions.
As a Blog & Editorial Content Maker, you will be the voice behind content that engages readers from the first sentence. You will create timely, culture-forward blog content that reflects Tubi's personality: sharp, curious, and in on the conversation. This role is for someone who lives online, understands trends, and can turn a great idea into a story readers want to finish.
You will work closely with B2C and B2B teams to develop content that drives engagement, deepens audience connection, and leads viewers to explore more of Tubi.
What You’ll Do Write and publish engaging, on-brand blog content rooted in entertainment, pop culture, and streaming trends
Develop story angles that connect Tubi's content catalog to what audiences are watching, talking about, and searching for
Adapt ideas across formats (long reads, listicles, cultural moments, franchise deep-dives) based on what best serves the story
Collaborate with Consumer Product Marketing to support content launches, campaigns, and seasonal moments
Monitor culture, social, and entertainment news to identify timely content opportunities
Use AI tools to brainstorm, research, write, and accelerate content production without losing the Tubi voice
Maintain a consistent publishing cadence while managing multiple stories at once
What You’ll Learn How editorial content supports brand building and consumer engagement at scale
How to develop a distinct brand voice and apply it across different story formats
How entertainment marketing teams translate product strategy into compelling consumer narratives
How to balance creative instincts with data and audience insights to sharpen your storytelling
Who You Are Up to three years of combined professional experience, including internships
A natural writer with a distinct voice and a love of pop culture, film, TV, or streaming
You know what\'s trending and more importantly, you know why it\'s trending
Able to hook a reader in the first sentence and keep them reading to the last
Comfortable moving swiftly, pitching ideas, and iterating based on feedback
Organized enough to manage a content calendar without dropping a deadline
Genuine enthusiasm for Tubi and the audiences who love it
Nice to Have Experience running a blog, newsletter, Substack, or social content channel
Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful, or similar)
Exposure to SEO best practices and content performance metrics; interest in or experience with AI writing and research tools
Why This Role Matters Great content doesn’t just inform: it creates fans. This role helps Tubi show up in culture in a way that feels authentic, exciting, and worth clicking on. By connecting our content to the conversations people are already having, you\'ll help turn casual viewers into dedicated Tubi devotees.
