Job Title: Senior Video Editor

Location: Mettawa, IL 60045 (Hybrid | Tues-Thurs onsite, flexibility based on space/team needs)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Work Setup: Hybrid role with expected onsite presence Tuesday through Thursday.

About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who can do more than just cut footage. This role is for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, and visual impact, and can bring ideas to life through both editing and motion design.

You’ll be working on a mix of branded content, interview-style videos, and documentary-style storytelling, collaborating closely with creative teams to deliver polished, high-quality content.

What You'll Be Doing

Edit high-quality video content aligned with brand and creative direction

Shape storytelling through pacing, tone, and narrative structure

Work on a variety of formats including talking head/interview videos, branded and marketing content, documentary-style edits

Create and integrate motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling

Collaborate with writers, designers, and creative leaders

Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously

Ensure consistency in brand, quality, and technical execution

Support video shoots when needed (shot lists, lighting, basic setup)

What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills

Strong video editing skills with a focus on storytelling and narrative flow

Solid experience with motion graphics (After Effects)

Strong understanding of composition, layout, and typography

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

Experience working on interview-based, branded, or documentary-style content

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Experience with AI tools in video production or editing workflows

Exposure to 3D workflows or tools

Background in agency or creative environments
