Positional Overview

The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Senior Business Communications Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Buffalo, New York , serving individuals, businesses, and communities across the eastern United States. Known for its strong regional presence, commitment to community engagement, and focus on long-term customer relationships, the organization offers a stable and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic internal and external communications that align with organizational goals and enhance brand reputation. You will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to craft clear, compelling messaging, manage key communication channels, and support change initiatives through effective storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Develops and coordinates lines of communication within a line of business among employees. Implements policies and programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting employees

Works directly with business line management to develop, manage, implement, and evaluate internal communications, to include sales/service/operations, change management, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.

Identify, prepare and implement plans for significant organizational announcements and respond to employee inquiries.

Lead the evaluation and potential implementation of new communication delivery channels.

Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the brand.

Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Complete other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive

MUST have experience creating content in presentation form for Executives in addition to other audiences. Content creation expertise for MarCom type materials including infographics, quick reference guides, user guides. Preferred experience with creation of metric/dashboards (experience with PowerBI, Tableau) * Examples of materials created are required prior to interview*
