We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day.
As a strategic communications specialist, you will support senior leaders by developing communications strategies, plans, and products that align to organizational priorities. You will create executive-level deliverables, including briefings, talking points, speeches, memos, background papers, and leadership messages. You will creatively craft and distribute messaging and expertly support senior leader engagements, paying strict attention to detail and working in a fast-paced environment.
You Have
5+ years of experience in a strategic communications role
5+ years of experience creating briefings, drafting talking points, writing speeches and messages, compiling and editing reports, and preparing leaders for events and engagements
Experience working directly with senior leaders
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
Ability to work without direct supervision, proactively engage and solve problems, and display a dynamic work ethic
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have
Experience working directly with senior leaders in the Department of War or other government agencies
Experience with AI tools and leveraging their benefits for strategic communications purposes
Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
