We are located in New York, NY.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a junior Graphic Designer who is passionate about pop-culture. Disney, Marvel, Harry Potter, DC Comics, Star Wars – we work all the major entertainment properties. In this role you will work full-time onsite with us in Manhattan designing consumer products under the direction of our creative director as well as interfacing with the licensors about approvals and also helping to organize the rest of the team and interfacing with the freelance artists we work with. Important skills & responsibilities include:Genuine, personal (outside of the job) interest in pop-culture movies, comics, music, etc.Very strong Adobe Photoshop skills and proficient in IllustratorOrganized and detail-oriented to be able to organize what can at times be many concurrent projectsan ability to learn our consumer demographics to better tailor designs to their tastesa creative mind for new product format developmentStrong design skills and conceptual thinkingCreating vivid concept imagery and physical packaging mock-ups for sales presentations to customersAbility to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Coordinate design projects as directed through multiple associates from concept to final delivery of assets to factory.QualificationsAssociate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related fieldExperience with Disney consumer products design a plus but not requiredExperience in the home décor product categories a plus but not requiredPersonal interest in pop-culture Ability to manage multiple projects, specifically with a team to navigate creative and logistical demandsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsAbility to operate proficiently in the Adobe Creative SuiteSalary: $50,000-$55,000 DOE
