Job Description
Community Care is hiring a Marketing and Communications Specialist for our rewarding opportunity to join our Marketing Department, who enjoys team collaboration, being part of a mission driven organization and who shares our mission to help elderly individuals and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities continue to live as independently as possible in the community. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity at our Bishops Woods office.

Marketing and Communications Specialist Job Responsibilities
Marketing Plan Assists with the development and implementation of the marketing plan and budget. Executes and measures the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

Internal Communications Develops and implements an internal communications plan to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness in the delivery of information. Recommends strategies/plans agency-wide and site/program specific communication to ensure broad, deep and focused communication efforts. Develops and publishes in-house newsletter and helps maintain marketing information on intranet.

Agency Website Develops collaborative relationships with media representatives, maintains contact lists, writes press releases and helps coordinate responses to media inquiries.

Social Media Assists in developing, implementing, and overseeing social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.

Brand Identity Assures organizational adherence (e.g., collateral materials, signage, website) to established branding guidelines.

Event Planning Assists with the planning and implementation of special events.

Special Assignments and Projects Coordinates, delegates, or performs special assignments and projects requested by leadership staff.

Job Requirements
Education: Required – Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or Liberal Arts.

Experience: Required – a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations role. Preferred – experience working in a health care, long-term care, or community-based organization.

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
