Multimedia Journalist – WDEF‑TV
WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, TN, a subsidiary of Morris Network, is seeking a Multimedia Journalist. The candidate must gather, investigate, log, and write news stories for WDEF newscasts and web-based platforms. The role requires a self‑starter who understands how to get a story, follow through on development, and report in a concise, accurate manner. The individual must be able to shoot and edit video. 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather, investigate, log, and write news stories for newscasts and web-based platforms.

Produce newscasts to a certain extent.

Shoot and edit video.

Submit a video demo reel as part of the application.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience preferred.

Must be a self‑starter and able to report in a concise, accurate manner.

Must pass pre‑employment background and drug screening.
