We are seeking a talented Dub Script Adaptation Writer to join our creative team.If you are the person who gets disproportionately upset by bad VO or sloppy dubbing, this is the perfect position for you.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a full-time Dub Script Adaptation Writer who eats sleeps and breathes dialogue. You will be taking pre-translated scripts (primarily from Mandarin Chinese) and turning them into English dialogue that fits the genre, feels natural, character-driven, and ready to perform.You'll also take on script supervision responsibilities - keeping scripts clean, consistent, and production-ready for recording sessions and client delivery. That side of the job is structured and teachable, strong writing instincts are not.Key ResponsibilitiesWriting (Primary Focus)Adapt translated scripts into natural, expressive American English dialogueHit lipflap/timing constraints without sacrificing natural flowMaintain tone, character voice, and genre authenticity across large volumes of contentRevise quickly and thoughtfully based on direction and feedbackScript SupervisionKeep track of continuity, naming, and terminologyIngest deliverables into and maintain Excel-based scripts (line IDs, timing, notes)Prep and export Word scripts/PDFs for sessionsReview recording sessions and track changes made in-session/flag mistakesTrack pickups and implement revisions accuratelyWhat We're Looking ForYou must write excellent dialogue.
