Position Overview As Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing go-to-market strategies for our product portfolio based on business objectives, customer needs and market opportunities. You will lead a team of product and content marketers responsible for crafting narratives and content that get our markets excited about our leading early childhood education program. This is a highly cross-functional role in which you will work closely with marketing, product, sales and executive leadership to understand and frame our target markets, buyers and influencers, and translate our product features and vision into powerful marketing programs. You will become an expert on the product portfolio, leading a team that articulates our product and portfolio value proposition and communicates our compelling customer stories. You’ll inspire each individual to execute to the best of their ability and foster a welcoming and high-performing culture.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities Leads and manages our team of high-performing product and content marketing professionals
Collaborates with internal teams to analyze customer and product portfolio/solution selling needs
Leads strategy and execution across the range of product marketing functions including:
Market analysis and research
Buyer personas and journeys
Go-to-market strategies and launches
Competitive analysis
Sales enablement materials, presentations, webinars
Content marketing and production
Social marketing
Branding strategy and execution
Website direction/messaging
Advertising/Media promotion strategy and messaging
Event Strategy
PR strategy
Pricing strategy
Defines product value propositions, messaging, positioning, campaign and communication objectives based on a deep understanding of customer need, product offering and competitive advantage
Creates scalable, effective and measurable customer acquisition, adoption, and retention strategies as appropriate
Establishes KPIs and tracks performance of your team’s efforts to ensure desired business outcomes
