Location & Flexibility

This role is based in Denver, Colorado.
Monthly travel is required for team and client events.
The Ideal Candidate

You’re curious, detail-oriented, and eager to break into the world of travel and lifestyle PR. You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, love storytelling, and are excited to learn the ins and outs of media relations, influencer partnerships, and creative campaign development.
You’re proactive, organized, and not afraid to jump in—whether that’s building media lists, pitching journalists, or supporting on-the-ground press trips.

What You Bring

0–2+ years of experience in PR or communications, or internships in a related field
Strong writing and communication skills

A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Interest in media, travel, hospitality, and storytelling
Familiarity with media databases and social platforms is a plus
Desire to learn and develop your career
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain media lists, draft and distribute media materials, and conduct outreach across media and influencer channels
Coordinate interviews, media tours, and support influencer partnerships, including vetting, content coordination, and tracking deliverables
Assist with media and influencer mailers, brand partnerships, and product logistics
Monitor news, trends, and editorial calendars to surface timely opportunities and contribute to brainstorms with fresh pitch ideas and creative concepts
Monitor media coverage in real time, draft press updates, and lead reporting efforts
Assist in planning and executing media visits and events, including itinerary development and on-the-ground support as needed
Support development of press materials such as press kits, fact sheets, bios, and story sheets
Maintain organized databases and status documents, participate in client calls, and track action items to support overall account operations

Account Coordinator Job Roles & Responsibilities

Media & Influencer Relationship Support
Develop and update media lists, identifying new and emerging contacts/outlets
Draft and disseminate executive announcements and media alerts with management revision
Conduct media outreach and follow-ups regarding new programming, property updates, event calendars, and other announcements
Coordinate interviews, desk-side meetings, and media tours with management support
Assist in media and influencer mailers process, coordinating brand partnerships and product inventory
Support influencer partnerships through vetting inquiries, coordinating content, and tracking deliverables
Research & Strategy Support
Monitor news coverage and flag opportunities in real time, identify media and travel trends with team
Track editorial calendars and proactively surface opportunities
Support brainstorm sessions with fresh pitch ideas, media targets, and creative activation concepts
Develop relationships with local tourism boards, partners, and hotels
Lead Monitoring & Reporting Process
Monitor media coverage across accounts, flagging internally and drafting press announcement emails with management review
Track secured press in client status sheets and reporting platforms in real time
Support crisis monitoring and flag neutral to negative news in a timely manner
Assist with planning and logistics for media visits, including itinerary development, booking activities, confirming lodging, etc.
Serve as on-the-ground support during press trips and media events as needed (some travel required)
Develop media visit requests and media briefs for individual FAMs and group events
Content & Material Development
Develop and update press kits, fact sheets, and bios
Assist in building client story sheets, including organizing content, gathering image assets, and developing media-friendly one-sheeter
Client & Account Support
Maintain organized databases, such as internal/external documents, photo libraries, and client status sheets
Participate in client calls, taking detailed notes, developing action items, and presenting updates as needed
