Responsibilities & Qualifications

Lead and oversee the preparation of daily newscasts
Research, write, and produce compelling stories for air
Manage story placement, teases, timing, graphics, and overall production flow
Coordinate graphic creation and satellite feeds from various sources
Work closely with the control room during live productions
Knowledge of current events
Strong writing and editing skills
Solid understanding of social media and online publishing
Clear and concise communicator under tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and news judgment
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screening
