The Role
Our Creative team is seeking an experienced Creative Director, Copy to lead integrated creative development across campaigns, content, and digital experiences, with a strong emphasis on social-first and platform-native execution. With a deep understanding of how brands show up across social, digital, and emerging media, you will shape big ideas, define verbal direction, and guide teams toward work that is strategically grounded, culturally relevant, and built to perform.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leading copy-driven creative in an agency environment, with experience spanning integrated campaigns, social content, and digital storytelling for entertainment, gaming, and brand clients. You are comfortable translating strategy into concepts that can travel across channels, partnering closely with art directors, designers, strategists, producers, and account teams, and pushing the work to be sharper, smarter, and more effective at every stage
In this role, you will oversee campaign narratives, messaging systems, and creative concepts across a range of touchpoints, from social and digital content to broader integrated initiatives. Responsibilities include leading copy direction, mentoring writers and cross-disciplinary creatives, shaping pitch and presentation narratives, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver ideas that connect brand, audience, and business goals. Because this role operates in a fast-moving digital environment, strong instincts for platform behavior, audience engagement, and culturally responsive storytelling are essential.
Here's What You'll Do
Integrated Creative Leadership
Lead the verbal and conceptual direction for integrated campaigns, ensuring ideas are rooted in strategy and built to extend across social, digital, content, and broader brand touchpoints.
Develop campaign narratives, messaging territories, and creative frameworks that can scale across platforms while maintaining consistency and impact.
Review, refine, and approve creative work throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining a high bar for originality, clarity, craft, and strategic alignment.
Social & Digital Storytelling
Shape copy-led ideas and executions tailored to how audiences engage across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging digital platforms.
Ensure creative work feels timely, platform-aware, and culturally fluent while still serving broader campaign and brand objectives.
Evolve existing assets, campaign materials, and media into fresh digital and social executions that extend relevance and engagement.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop copywriters and multidisciplinary creatives, helping teams strengthen concepting, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Partner closely with department leads across Social, Strategy, Production, and Design to align on creative direction, integrated approach, and campaign vision.
Collaborate with art directors, designers, strategists, editors, and producers to develop work that is cohesive across visual and verbal expression.
Set a clear creative standard for the team, providing actionable feedback that elevates the work and supports a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Client Partnership & Creative Advocacy
Present concepts and creative rationale to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and strong strategic grounding.
Collaborate with account, strategy, and production teams to balance creative ambition with timelines, feasibility, and business objectives.
Help drive new thinking across the department by championing best practices in integrated storytelling, platform innovation, and culturally responsive creative.
Here's What It Takes
8-10+ years of experience in copywriting, creative direction, or integrated campaign development, preferably within an agency environment.
Proven experience leading copy-driven creative across integrated campaigns, with strong depth in social and digital execution.
A strong portfolio demonstrating standout concepting, campaign thinking, and copy craft across brand, social, and digital channels.
Experience developing ideas that travel across multiple platforms while maintaining a clear and cohesive verbal point of view.
Ability to translate brand and campaign strategy into distinct messaging systems, campaign narratives, and platform-native executions.
Demonstrated success leading and mentoring writers and cross-functional creative teams.
Deep understanding of social platforms, audience behavior, trends, and the role digital channels play within larger campaign ecosystems.
Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining creative quality and strategic rigor.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and project management tools; familiarity with social listening, reporting, and trend tools is a plus.
