Job Overview We are looking for three (3) driven Social Media Specialists to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users. The goal is to gradually raise interest in Jew'els of Spain and enhance partnerships and donors through website traffic by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to participate, join and donate to support our mission.
Optimize our Public Charity's social media pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the organization’s social content.
Collaborate with the Executive Board to manage their reputation, identify key players and coordinate a plan of action.
Requirements Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Social networking experience
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Excellent English written and spoken communication skills are essential
Spanish and Portuguese are preferable as well
Time Commitment This position requires at least 5 to 10 hours a week of donated hours.
