Miami REALTORS® is seeking a Social Media Specialist to own the day-to-day management of the organization’s social media presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for executing a consistent content strategy, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring messaging is timely, accurate, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Responsibilities include:

Own and manage day-to-day social media activity across all platforms

Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging

Monitor accounts, respond to comments and inquiries, and manage public-facing interactions professionally

Identify and elevate potential reputational risks when needed

Content Development & Curation

Create and publish content using existing assets, photography, and design resources

Write clear, polished, and engaging captions aligned with organizational messaging

Adapt materials for social platforms while maintaining brand standards

Highlight member achievements, programs, and organizational initiatives

Content Planning & Coordination

Own and manage a structured, well-executed content calendar across platforms and priorities

Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and assets

Ensure timely promotion of events, education, and key initiatives

Identify opportunities to increase engagement, including recommending paid promotion when appropriate

Adjust content strategy based on performance and engagement trends

Collaboration with Internal Teams

Work closely with leadership, marketing, communications, and program staff to ensure accurate and effective messaging

Coordinate with designers and photographers to leverage existing visual assets

Support organizational initiatives through social media campaigns and announcements

Community Engagement & Interaction

Encourage meaningful interaction and participation across social channels

Facilitate conversations that strengthen relationships with members and stakeholders

Identify emerging discussions relevant to the organization and respond appropriately

Amplify member voices and organizational achievements when appropriate

Knowledge and skills required:

Social media management and digital communication expertise across multiple platforms

Strong copywriting with the ability to create clear, polished, and engaging messaging

Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment

Ability to plan and maintain a consistent content calendar

Strong professional judgment and responsiveness in public-facing communication

Ability to use data and insights to improve engagement and performance

Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar

Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut preferred

Bilingual capability preferred

Ability to use AI as a tool, not a dependency

Experience:
We are seeking a candidate with experience managing social media, digital content, or online community engagement for an organization or brand. The ideal candidate has managed multiple social media accounts, created content using existing visual assets and brand materials, and engaged with audiences in a timely and professional manner. They are comfortable working across teams while staying organized and responsive in a fast‑paced environment where initiative and follow-through are expected. A creative background is important, a design background is a plus, and bilingual capability, particularly English and Spanish, is preferred. This role requires a high level of initiative and ownership. The right person will identify what needs to be done and move it forward without waiting for direction.

Education:

Background in marketing, communications, digital media, design, or a related field is helpful

A creative background with the ability to generate and translate ideas into content is important

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range is $55,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience. The compensation package includes medical insurance and access to a dental savings plan. The organization also offers a 401(k) plan with matching opportunities.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
