Job Summary
The Center for Civic Engagement is looking for a graphic design student worker to create and design a variety of communication, marketing, and promotional items for civic engagement opportunities, programming, and events. The role includes designing print and electronic graphics such as brochures, newsletters, posters, banners, advertisements, t-shirts, LCD screens, email templates, social media, etc. You will assist with other unit projects, attend events and fairs as a representative of CCE, and occasionally help staff the CCE office and answer phones as needed. Occasional in-person team meetings, participation in on-campus events, and staffing in the CCE office may also be required.

Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour

Required Qualifications

Students in leadership positions within Alternative Breaks (executive board, trip leaders, etc.) are not eligible to apply.

All student employees must have good academic and disciplinary standing.

Preferred Qualifications

Graphic design experience and skills.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Attention to detail.

Ability to perform tasks promptly and professionally.

Work Hours
7 hours per week on average.

Functional Expectations

Remain at a workstation for extended periods.

Move about in various locations across campus as needed.

Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
