Digital Streaming Producer/Host/Reporter

WFRV Local 5 is looking for an innovative, creative, and reliable, person to fill the position of Digital Streaming Producer/Host/Reporter.This role is unique and will involve crafting solid, journalistically sound storytelling to engage our audiences across our website, apps, social media channels, and our CTV channel.We are looking for a content creator willing to produce stories/segments and host one or more live digital productions to expand our audiences.Responsibilities:Produce, edit video content using OBS Studio and other toolsEnsure all content meets high standards of journalistic integrity and production qualityResearch and analyze details to provide complete, accurate storiesHost CTV shows from our streaming studioArrange interviews with people for exclusive CTV shows when neededProduces and presents reports on all platformsLaunch creative, compelling daily content for viewers on mobile, desktop, and connected TVBe able to self-direct a show through OBS StudioSet up and coordinate guests for in-studio or remote appearancesPlan content for each daySchedule connected television app programming by crafting blocks of engaging contentMonitor social media accounts and post content on our social channelsKeep up to date with local, state, national, and world newsWrite, edits stories for the web and other digital platforms/channelsOther projects and duties as assignedRequirements/kills:Knowledge of WordPress, OBS/vMix, Akta or similar digital content management systemsBachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experienceFamiliarity with SEO and social media content strategiesExcellent editorial judgment, communication, and problem-solving skillsStrong writing and editorial abilityAbility to adjust schedule based on major and breaking news eventsWFRV and Nexstar Media Inc. is an equal opportunity employer
