Overview
Hubbard House seeks an experienced Marketing Coordinator to work with a dynamic, professional team focused on communications, fundraising, and raising awareness of Hubbard House.
Working closely with the Development and Community Education Departments, the Marketing Coordinator oversees and implements several key areas of Hubbard House’s communications strategy. The Marketing Coordinator specifically deals with media relations, advertising, brand design, graphic design, and multi-media projects. The Marketing Coordinator also collaborates with other team members on social media content, as designated, and liaises with contract/specialized support in defined areas.
The position requires a clear communicator, both verbal and written, and someone with high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization and detail.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator will:
Oversee media relations, advertising, brand design, and graphic design projects.
Create and execute multi-media projects.
Collaborate on social media content and coordinate with specialized support.
Occasionally work evenings and weekends to attend events and media engagements.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
Three years of experience in communications, media relations, or marketing preferred.
Experience with Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English; bilingual capabilities a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation; vehicle insurance must be maintained and meet Hubbard House, Inc. eligibility requirements.
Background screening: Level‑2 background screening including criminal background checks, motor vehicle report, and drug, alcohol, and TB screening.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States (E‑Verify).
Must successfully clear required background screenings.

Hubbard House was founded as the first domestic violence shelter in Florida and is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Northeast Florida. With an annual operating budget of $10 million, Hubbard House serves approximately 5,000 women, children, and men annually.
Employment Details
Full time, non‑exempt. Onsite position. Primary weekday business hours with occasional evenings and weekends. Salary starting at $23.00 per hour; commensurate with experience.
