What You Will Do
You will support marketing and communications strategies for our company and its portfolio of products. You will support communications for workplace events and play an important role in the communications outreach! You will use your creativity to complement our reputation and branding.

Essential Functions

Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns aligned with business development priorities

Create and edit content for proposals, capability statements, website, and social media channels

Coordinates and supports trade shows, industry events (e.g., AUSA), and customer engagements from the planning through close‑out phases, including plans, budgets, space, equipment, and service orders, shipments, and promotional items.

Coordinate internal and external communications, including newsletters and announcements

Maintain and update marketing materials, product sheets, and presentations

Conduct market research on competitors, customers, and industry trends

Support branding initiatives to strengthen Miltope’s position in the defense industrial base

Supports Business Development activities as required such as campaigns, captures, or proposals.

Coordinates and interfaces with Miltope contracted vendors such as advertising agencies, exhibit houses, etc.

Coordinates ordering, maintenance, logging, and bailment of demonstration equipment.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and BD teams to translate technical capabilities into clear messaging.

Supports Business Development in their pursuit of specific opportunities.

Travel to trade shows, events, and vendors as required.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.

Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Proficient with Social Media Platforms and best practices.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to obtain/maintain a US security clearance.

No travel restrictions.

Preferred Education & Experience

Field Experience in aerospace, defense industry and military environments.

Familiarity with government contracting or defense acquisition environment.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (LinkedIn, website CMS, email platforms).

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and much of the role will be in an office environment with light physical demands. Frequent US travel is required as well as occasional global travel. Candidate will be required to assist with the installation and assembly of trade show booth materials as well as transport such materials needed to and from trade events. Lifting materials (infrequent 20 lbs.), as well as bending, stooping and climbing will be required. Standing at trade shows for extended periods of time may also be required. Candidate must have the ability to interpret and match colors.
