Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Social Media Coordinator for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in New York, NY. This role will be remote.

Responsibilities

Support the Social Media Lead of Subsidiaries in executing organic social media strategy, content production, publishing, and workflow management across firm subsidiary brands in insurance and asset management.

Own day-to-day organic social media content production and workflow management in Asana from intake through publishing.

Manage content scheduling, publishing, tagging, QA, and channel maintenance across key social platforms.

Coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals with marketing, communications, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and subsidiary brands.

Ensure content aligns with brand standards, platform best practices, and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Support social media governance processes, documentation, and playbooks.

Track performance and provide reporting on content effectiveness, engagement, and channel health.

Contribute to content ideation and creative briefing for platforms including LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Instagram.

Always represent the team professionally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

1–3 years of experience in social media, content publishing, or digital marketing.

Experience supporting social media programs in regulated industries, preferably financial services or insurance.

Strong experience with organic social media publishing and social content operations.

Experience using Asana or similar project management tools to manage content workflows.

Familiarity with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr or similar tools.

Knowledge of compliance approval processes and tools such as Red Oak or similar platforms.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Professional communication skills and a polished, dependable presence.
