JOB SUMMARY
Develop, maintain, and expand client relationships through prompt, pleasant service and efficient handling of quoting, applications, claims, change requests, and client inquiries on personal lines accounts. This role involves significant priority management, excellent attention to detail, the ability to clearly communicate, and a pleasant demeanor when dealing with both internal and external clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively perform account reviews independently 45 days in advance of policy renewal for assigned book of business.
Review policies for correct coverage, solicit and evaluate rewrite proposals, if necessary, provide recommendations for additional products when appropriate for clients, and ensure a smooth transition for the client when moving policies to a new carrier.
Expand existing account relationships by recommending and writing new lines of coverage when appropriate for the client.
Field policy and billing questions from clients by email, phone, and in person, and educate them about their coverage and the services our team can provide.
Engage proactively and collaborate effectively with carrier personnel in the management of underwriting requests for newly issued or existing policies.
Immediately document all client communication and action taken in agency management system according to internal protocols.
Identify round-out opportunities for benefits, financial services, and business insurance products, and provide leads and contact information to appropriate personnel.
Timely and accurate processing of policy changes including mortgagee changes, auto and property additions and deletions, address changes, etc.
Generate proof of insurance including auto ID cards and evidence of insurance as necessary or when Assistant Account Manager is not available.
Field and address claims calls from clients.
Maintain loss/claim files and provide updates as needed or agreed upon with clients and sales team.
Maintain current contact and policy information in agency management system for prospects and clients.
Participate in occasional sales and service meetings at the request of sales team and clients.
Keep informed of the insurance industry through independent study, continuing education, and agency resources.
Assist with general office tasks including answering agency phone and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2+ Years of Personal Insurance Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance License
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have any direct reports.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to use a computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Work is performed in a typical office environment.
POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
TRAVEL
Travel between Enders locations may be required depending on staffing needs. Occasional travel to offsite client meetings or seminars may occasionally be requested.
HYBRID WORK ELIGIBILITY
This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Enders Hybrid Work Policy.
