Position Purpose
The Videographer is responsible for capturing, producing, and delivering high-quality visual stories across all NXTPRO and PRO16 platforms. This role is centered on storytelling through the lens—from explosive live game action to in-depth player features. We are seeking a technically skilled, creative filmmaker who understands basketball culture and thrives in the fast-paced environment of a national sports circuit.

Core Responsibilities & Key Result Areas (KRAs)

Content Capture & Execution:

Filming high-level video content at live events, in-studio, and on-location. You are responsible for delivering compelling 4K footage with professional-grade framing, lighting, and audio that aligns with NXTPRO brand standards.

Highlight & Game Coverage:

Produce elite-level sports highlights with a deep understanding of pacing, angles, and the specific "moments" that resonate with a modern basketball audience.

Long-Form Production:

Lead the production of long-form features, including player documentaries, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and recurring YouTube series.

Editing & Post-Production:

Efficiently edit content for quick turnaround across social media and YouTube. You must maintain high quality and brand consistency while meeting strict deadlines for 5+ weekly productions.

Live Stream & Broadcast Support:

Assist with the setup and operation of live stream workflows. Troubleshoot equipment and support live broadcasts to ensure a seamless viewing experience for our audience.

Production Management:

Maintain organized footage and workflow systems. Collaborate closely with the Content Manager and creative team to brainstorm and execute new storytelling approaches.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience:

2-4+ years of professional videography experience, specifically within sports, action, or documentary filmmaking.

Technical Proficiency:

Mastery of professional cinema cameras, lighting kits, and audio equipment. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and DaVinci Resolve are a plus).

Production Pacing:

Demonstrated ability to capture and deliver daily video content with high efficiency and a "quick-turn" mindset.

Basketball IQ:

A strong understanding of the game of basketball—knowing where to be for the best shot and understanding the culture of the grassroots landscape.

Travel & Location:

Based in (or willing to relocate immediately to) Oklahoma City. Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends, for event coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

Broadcast Experience:

Familiarity with live streaming hardware (Blackmagic, Teradek, etc.) and software-based broadcast suites.

Mentorship:

Experience supporting or training interns and junior editors to maintain a high-performance production environment.

Content Innovation:

A portfolio that demonstrates a unique creative "eye" and an ability to bring fresh visual styles to sports media.

Salary and Compensation

Salary:

$55,000
