Job Title
Adapting Social is seeking a creative, intuitive, and organized Videographer to join the Visual Arts Department.
This person will be responsible for creating visually appealing, on-brand assets taking into account performance data and best practices. You'll have a deep passion for shooting video, taking photos and editing their assets. This person will work closely with and collaborate with the rest of the creative and marketing teams.

Responsibilities
Managing pre-production, production, and post-production editing of video projects
Edit (utilizing digital equipment) the production of creative and technical video productions to ensure that they meet established quality standards
Assist with editing support, and other media expertise
Ensure quality standards are met and comply with company/client specifications
Creating videos that may include photographs, timelapse videos, voiceovers, music, text, special effects etc.
Create compelling how-to videos for syndication on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Ability to create and edit 30 second to 3 minute videos, and more long form training videos
Storyboard a project, write scripts, pitch ideas, and execute on the vision.
Your Typical Day
Oversee the creative execution of short-form and long-form marketing videos using a data-driven, test-and-learn approach.
Conceptualize new storytelling angles.
Write scripts that combine a variety of storytelling narrative devices including narration, scripted copy, soundbites, video b-roll and graphics.
Conduct documentary-style, on-camera interviews that elicit pithy compelling responses from brand "gurus" and customers (ie testimonials) and other on-camera talent.
Work with our internal team or our clientele to gather video assets (i.e.identify needed video cover, set-up locations and shoot b-roll).
Oversee the creative production of shoots in collaboration with our Account Managers.
Collaborate with editors from pre-production to delivery, including providing feedback on edits, assist conceiving of graphics and on-screen text.
Available to drive and travel to locations in order to film and gather footage and conduct interviews.
Requirements
Proficient in Adobe Premiere
2+ years of agency and/or start-up experience
Strong conceptual thinking
First-hand experience with video and photography
A strong eye for visual composition and layout
Knowledge of restrictions and limitations as it relates to design
Great communication skills
Takes criticism very, very well
Ability to receive direction, comprehend feedback, and learn from teammates but also take initiative and meet various challenges
Highly adaptable and versatile
Must be able to prove video and photo process
You must be able to submit a portfolio with current or past work that you have done.
