Our client, the world's leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for a Coordinator, Post Production to support the Live-Action Kids & Family TV team. This position would focus on a wide range of unscripted programming (from large scale competition shows both in the field and in studio to smaller docuseries aimed for a family audience), scripted series (focused on Kids, tweens and teens) and Tween Original Musical Movies.
This is a hybrid 6-month contract . Candidates must be able to work on-site Monday–Thursday, with remote work on Fridays, in Los Angeles, CA , and must not hold H‑1B visa status. The hourly rate is up to $65 ; benefits are available through Talent Table. No C2C.
The Role
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of post-production and hands‑on experience working on shows in post. The ideal candidate is passionate about post-production, self‑motivated, quick‑thinking, flexible, and a strong team player. This individual must be able to pivot when necessary, manage multiple responsibilities, and demonstrate strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. This is a fast‑paced and demanding role requiring proactive thinking, sound judgment, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
Work in tandem with post‑production executives to onboard and support productions.
Track and oversee all post‑production schedules, ensuring they remain up to date and clearly communicated.
Create and coordinate document distribution, post‑production workflows, schedules, and resources, with an emphasis on maintaining and improving technology and databases.
Manage frequent communication with show partners and provide updates to internal teams on deliveries and deadlines, particularly for projects with tight timelines.
Support onboarding, administration, and maintenance of Pix (dailies and cuts).
Coordinate post‑production assets for cross‑functional teams.
Aggregate and manage data (post schedules, post information, personnel, and facilities) within the Client ecosystem, while streamlining digital workflows.
Schedule post‑production and dailies workflow calls, as well as other show‑related meetings.
Coordinate internal and external screenings, including the creation and transfer of necessary assets.
Distribute technical documentation and guidelines to post‑production teams.
Track incoming cut deliveries and ensure alignment with published schedules.
Perform special project research for production executives as needed.
Perform additional duties as required to support productions and the department.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on production/post‑production management experience in nonfiction production.
Candidates will likely be at the post coordinator level (or equivalent) outside of the Client organization.
Ability to respond after hours for urgent or time‑sensitive matters.
High‑performing team player who operates efficiently and with empathy in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong prioritization skills and the ability to respond effectively in the best interest of the team.
Willingness to continue learning and staying up to date with current production/post‑production processes.
Strong understanding of traditional production/post‑production schedules and documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
